Christmas Goodies

This year we received such cute Christmas Goodies from friends that are obviously more in the know than we are.  I wanna share them with you and also have something to look back on next Christmas when I need ideas for giveaways and gifts!

Sucre marshmallows

Sucré Gingerbread marshmallow man

After I ate this, TD said I smelled like gingerbread! There was a definite taste and smell of cinnamon & nutmeg!

This was just sooooo adorable and delish! I finished it in 2 sittings =P

The mallow trees are coated with this green candy. And the reindeer is coated with chocolate. I am not sure what  snowman mallow is coated with but it was yummy too! (I am Diplo Wife, and I have a sweet tooth…. first step is admitting it =P)

Christmas Cookies

These delicious Christmas shortbread cookies from Kem Chicks Supermarket were the super-cute giveaways of the host during the pre-Christmas Eve party! And the they also have a ribbon with beads so you can hang em on your Christmas tree or perhaps on the wall for edible decoration. Or even on your light fixtures – like this. Isn’t it such a cute idea for next Christmas?

Christmas Fudge from JW Marriot's Cake Box

Christmas Fudge from JW Marriott's CakeBox

These Christmas Fudge bars from JW Marriott’s CakeBox remind me of FRUIT CAKE. Now don’t get me wrong… I hate fruit cake with a passion. But these… these were heaven! The dried fruits on top complement that uber rich and luscious fudge! Definitely the best version of fruit cake I’ve ever had. Hmmmm… I wonder if they also use Lindt chocolate the way they do for their mooncake pralines?

Kem Chicks Supermarket

  • According to our Thai friend during Thanksgiving (and I assume Christmas) you can order a roast turkey with sides for Rp 800,000 – not bad considering a marinated uncooked one at Grand Lucky is more than Rp 500,000
  • Jalan Kemang Raya No. 3 -5, Kemang, The Mansion at Kemang, Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia 12730
